Raymond Moser, 78, Former Easton Car, Construction Welder
Raymond Moser, Sr., 78 of the Walter House, Easton, a retired
electric welder, died last night in Warren Hospital, where
he was admitted Jan. 12.
He retired in 1959 as an electric welder at Easton Car & Construction
where he was employed 37 years. Previously, he was a boiler
marker at Lehigh Valley Railroad.
He was born in Easton on Dec 28, 1894 a son of the late Thomas
and Anna Gehris Moser.
Mr. Moser was a member of South Presbyterian Church, Easton
Moose and Easton Eagles.
He and his wife, the former Elizabeth Price, observed their
53rd wedding anniversary last Jan 16.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond Jr. of North Versailles,
PA and Richard of Phillipsburg; two Daughters, Mrs. Vincent
Gallo, Easton and Mrs. Howard Bishop Milford Conn; a sister,
Mrs. Anna Matter, California; 14 Grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Service will be held at 10:30 Wednesday in the Strunk Funeral
Home, Easton, Interment will be in Hay's Cemetery, Easton. |
