Lewis E. Moser, 66, Ex-Easton Resident, World War I Vet.
Lewis E. Moser, 66, a former Easton resident who was a veteran
of World War I, died last night at 10:45 o'clock in the Veteran
administration Hosptial, East Orange, N.J.
Mr. Moser whose home was in Laurel Springs, N.J. had been
ill for the last two months, He entered the veterans hospital
last month.
While living in Easton, he was employed as a meat cutter for
an American Stores Co. market here. He also worked in the same
capacity at one of the chain store's markets in Upper Darby.
Born in Easton on March 9, 1887, he was a son of the late
Charles and Alice Tice Moser. He resided on Grant street moving
from Easton about 20 years ago. He served overseas in France
with the U. S. Army during World War I. Mr. moser lived in
Laurel Spings for the last five years. He was of the Lutheran
faith.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Seeger of Ft. Knox,
Ky., and Mrs. Ara Hoffman, of Newark, N.J.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Heck
Memorial Home. The Rev. Paul J. Kidd, pastor of St. Paul's
Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in South
Easton cemetery. |
