Miss Ida Moser, 85, Resident of Wilson
Miss Ida Louise Moser, 1844 Northampton St., Wilson, was pronounced
dead on arrival at Easton Hospital about midnight Saturday,
a short time after she was stricken at home. She had been under
a physician’s care for some time. She was 85 Thursday.
Miss Moser was employed for more than 50 years by the former
Chipman Knitting Mills, west Easton. She retired when the plant
closed several years ago. She was a forelady in the looping
department.
She was born in Williams Township, a daughter of the late
Jacob Moser and the late Sarah Hahn Moser Kostenbader. She
resided with a cousin, Mrs. George Rooker, at the Northampton
Street address, for many years.
She was a member of Christ Evangelical Congregational (Blue)
Church, williams Township,and was a former church steward.
She was active in many of the church societies.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Florence Setzer, Bordentown, N.J.
She also leaves a niece and two nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Shillinger
Funeral Home, Easton. |
