Robert A. Miksch
Robert A. Miksch, 70 years old, died Saturday at his home, Nazareth R.D. 1, after having been bedfast for a year, with a heart condition.
He was a native of Bethlehem, so of the late Charles and Marie Kiefer Miksch. He had farmed at his present address for the last 18 years. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Reformed Church, Nazareth and of Knights of Pythias Lodge No. 257, of Bethlehem.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carrie Herring Miksch; two sons, Charles; Nazareth R.D. 3, and Robert Jr., at home; four daughters, Mrs. Grace Bryfogel, Slatington; Mrs. Arthur Cook, Charlestown, MD.; Mrs. William Beck, Nazareth R.D. 3, and Mrs. Edith Miksch, at home; a sister, Mrs. J. Frank Richline, Reading, and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., at the Bartholomew funeral home, 211 East Centre Street, Nazareth in charge of the Rev. Walter H. Diehl. |
