Edith E. Oswald, 87, of Upper Nazareth Township, Pa. passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008 in the VNA Hospice of St. Lukes, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of Edgar R. Oswald, who died in 2006. Born December 14, 1920 in Nazareth, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. Sr. and Carrie (Herring) Miksch. Edith was an active member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Nazareth. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was employed by Chemical Leaman Tank Lines retiring in 1986.
Survivors: Edith is survived by three sons, ***** of Nazareth, ***** and his wife, *****, of Allentown and ***** and his wife, *****, of Nazareth; sister, ***** and her husband, *****, of Nazareth; two grandsons, ***** and his wife, *****, of Whitehall, ***** and his wife, *****, of Hamburg; granddaughter, ***** and her husband, *****, of Allentown; five great-grandsons, a great-granddaughter. A grandson, Marc, brothers, Charles and Robert Jr., and sisters, Grace Bryfogle, Ruth Cook, Emma and Esther Miksch, preceded her in death.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2008 in St. Johns United Church of Christ, 183 S. Broad St., Nazareth.
