James E. Miksch Sr.
James E. Miksch, Sr., 80, of Hope Township, NJ, passed away, surrounded by his family, October 7, 2009 in the Hackettstown Regional Hospital.
Born: In Nazareth, PA. on December 30, 1928, he was a son of the late Charles and Virginia Marsh Miksch.
Personal: He retired in 1994 as the supervisor of electricians at the former Hoffman LaRoche Company, in Belvidere, NJ, he was employed there for over twenty five years, and prior to that he was a farmer. Mr. MIksch enjoyed spending time with his family, continuing his education in electrical work, he was an avid gun enthusiast and in many peoples thinking was a true jack of all trades and a Master of everything. S
urvivors: His wife of fifty nine years, the former Evelyn Compton; three sons,*****,***** and ,*****; daughter, ,*****; 9 grandchildren; and clearly loved by many special nieces; three sisters.
Mr. Miksch was predeceased by a granddaughter, Racheal Miksch and two brothers, Carl and Richard.
Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 RT. 94, Blairstown, NJ. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Hope Moravian Cemetery, Hope, NJ. |
