Mildred P. Person -- born in Bangor
Mildred P. Person, 82, formerly of Fifth St., Nazareth, died Friday, April 14, in Manor Care of Palmer Township. She was a homemaker.
Born July 1, 1917, in Bangor, she was a daughter of the late Russel and Katie Shook Messinger.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Nazareth. Her husband, Abner E. S., died in 1986.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Engler and Charlene Jarrett, both of Northampton; a son, Ronald of Wilson Borough; two sisters, Shirley Smith of Wind Gap and Gloria Jackson of Delaware; and six grandchildren. A sister, Eleanor Briscoe, died earlier.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Broad St., Nazareth. Call 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Reichel Funeral Home Inc., 220 Washington Park, Nazareth, and 12 p.m. to time of services Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine in Easton. |
