Mrs. Kneebone, 81, Slate Belt Resident
Mrs. Clara Kneebone, 81, died last night at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Searfoss, 420 S. Main St., Bangor, after a long illness.
Mrs. Kneebone was a widow of William Kneebone. Born in Pen Argyl, she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Mary Marsh. She resided in the Pen Argyl Bangor area all her life.
She was a member of First Methodist church, Bangor, and the Auxiliary of Emlyn H. Evans Post 378, American Legion.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Searfoss are five sons, William H. Bangor. R. D.; Raymond, Russell and Charles all of Bangor and Warren, Mount Bethel, four other daughters, Mrs. Violet Buskirk and Miss Beulah Kneebone, both of Bangor; Mrs. Ethel Repsher, Bangor R. D.3; and Mrs. Ruby Cesare, West Bangor; 36 Grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home, Bangor.

Mrs. William Kneebone
The funeral of Mrs. Clara Kneebone, 81, widow of William Kneebone, was held yesterday afternoon at the Miller Funeral Home, Bangor. Mrs. Kneebone died Thursday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Searfass, 420 S. Main St., Bangor.
The Rev. Howard N. Reeves Jr., S. T. D., Pastor of First Methodist Church, Bangor, officiated. Interment was in St. John’s Reformed Cemetery, Bangor. The pallbearers were Leroy Searfass, Ralph and Robert Kneebone, Gordon Respher, Donald Parsons, and John Cesare. |
