R. J. Kneebone, Insurance Man in Bangor, 60
Russell J. Kneebone, 60, of 711 Market St., Bangor, died yesterday at his home.
Mr. Kneebone was an insurance agent. He also managed the Edward Lawson Auto Parts Agency in Bangor until his illness. At one time he drove a mail truck.
Mr. Kneedbone was a son of the late William and Clara Marsh Kneebone.
He was a member and trustee of First Methodist Church, Bangor. He was a member of the official board, the choir and the Wesley Men’s Bible Class of the church.
Surviving are his widow, the former Dorothy E. Tucker; two sons, Leon, a professor at Pennsylvania State University, and Robert, Washington, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Rush, Metuchen, N.J.; four brothers, William Raymond and Charles, all of Bangor, and Warren, of Mount Bethel; five sisters, Mrs. Violet Buskirk, Mrs. Nelson Serfass, and Miss Beulah Kneebone, all of Bangor; Mrs. Alfonso Cesare, West Bangor, and Mrs. Arthur Repsher, Bangor Junction; two granddaughters and four grandsons.
The funeral will be held at 2 a.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home, Bangor.

The funeral of Russell J. Kneebone, 60, of 711 Market St., Bangor, was held this afternoon at the Miller Funeral Home, Bangor. Mr. Kneebone died Friday at his home.
The Rev. Howard N. Reeves Jr., pastor of First Methodist Church, Bangor, officiated. Interment was in ST. John’s Reformed Cemetery, Bangor. The pallbearers were Russell Couch, Melvin Finkbeiner, John Jones, Kenneth Smith, W. Earl Miller, and W. Robert Youlton.
