Albert M. Maginnis, 84, of Route 31 in Washington, N.J., died Sunday in Warren Hospital.
He was employed as a postal worker by the Washington Post Office until retiring.
Born May 7, 1904, in Easton, he was a son of the late Isaac and Julia Creager Maginnis.
Mr. Maginnis was a member of United Methodist Church in Washington, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
A member of Bangor Masonic Lodge 565, F&AM, for 61 years, he also was a member of Tem;ple Chapter 12, Tall Cedars of Lebanon and the Ranger Club, where he received a service award in 1969.
He and his wife, the former Geneva VanVorst, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last Dec. 26.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, three grandchildren; and two great-greatchildren.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the DeVoe Funeral Home in Washington. Interment will be in Belvidere Cemetery. |
