Mrs. William G. Bird
Mrs. Sarah Rachel Bird, 68, Bangor, died yesterday in Allentown
Hospital.
Mrs. Bird was the widow of William G. Bird, Proprietor of
the Family Shoe Store, who died in 1952. A lifelong resident
of Bangor, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Pauline
Schoch Mack.
She was a member of Pentecostal Assembly of God Church, Bangor.
Surviving are a son, George Aiken, S. C.; four sisters, Mrs.
John Datesman, Bangor; Mrs. Raymond Cornelius, Mount Bethel;
Mrs. Burton Brodt, Easton, and Mrs. Frank Meyers, Allentown;
a brother, Herbert Mack, Pen Argyl R.D.1, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hough Funeral
Home, Bangor.
