Ethel M. Whittaker, 88, of Mount Bethel, formerly of Bushkill,
died Monday, April 2, in Easton Hospital. She was the wife
of Theodore R. Whittaker, who died last year and the late Paul
Achenbach.
She was employed by the former Bangor Paper Box Co., in both
Bangor and Roseto, before retiring in 1962.
Born in Factoryville, Wyoming County, she was a daughter of
the late Clarence and Annie (Miller) Mack.
She was a member of Ackermanville United Methodist Church,
Ackermanville.
Survivors: Daughter, Janet Schafer of Mount Bethel; six grandchildren,
eight great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son Paul Achenbach Jr.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday, James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 314
S. First St., Bangor. Call 10-11 a.m. Friday.
