Aletha B. Hinton, 61, of 35 W. 2nd St., Wind Gap, died Monday
in her home. She was the wife of George F. Hinton Sr. They
were married 43 years last month.She was a seamstress for Valley Fashions, Wind Gap, until
retiring in 1988. Previously, she worked at various blouse
mills in the Wind Gap area for 35 years.Born in Wind Gap, she was a daughter of Ethel (Weidman) Mack
of Bangor and the late Earl Mack.
She was a member of Hope United Church of Christ, Wind Gap,
and a former Sunday school teacher and superintendent when
the church was Reformed Church of Wind Gap.
Survivors: Husband and mother; son, daughters, brothers,
sisters,
stepbrother, and eight grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday in the church. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday
