Fall Fatal To Charles Lowe
Scaffold Broke, Dropped Him Ten Feet and Fractured His Skull
Charles Lowe, 41 years old of Warren Glen, was fatally injured yesterday morning at about 10 o’clock while at work at the plant of the Warren Manufacturing Company. He was working on a scaffold, when a board broke, causing him to fall to the ground, a distance of about ten feet. He landed on his head and side and sustained a fractured skull, fractured ribs and other injuries. He died at 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon at Betts’ Hospital, Easton.
Mr. Lowe is survived by his wife, five children, John, of Allentown; Emma, Marie, Anna and Charles, Jr., at home; by his mother, Mrs. James Roland, of Finesville, and by two brothers and a sister, Frank and William Lowe, of Easton, and Mrs. Lydia Wieder, of Finesville.
He was a member of St. John Reformed church, Riegelsville, Pa., and of the P. O.S. of A. of Warren Glen, and the Red Men, of Finesville. |
