Rev. Carrie Price, Nazareth Resident
The Rev. Carrie M. L. Pirce, 71, of 294 N. Liberty St., Nazareth,
died yesterday in Easton Hospital.
A member of the Chrisitan Ministerial Association of America
in Philadelphia, she was stucken Saturday at a meeting of the
Northampton County Woman's christian Temperance Union at the
Church of the Nazarine in Nazareth.
The Rev. Mrs. Pice had resided in Nazareth the past 15 years.
She had been a member and treasurer of the Northampton County
WCTU, and a Sunday school teacher and junior director at the
Church of the Nazarene.
She was a graduate of the Zeraphath Bible Seminary, Zarephath,
N.J., and the Chicago School of Nursing and Career Institute.
She was a member and deaconess of the Pillar of Fire church
in Zarephath.
Her first husband, Enas Godshalk, died in 1943. Her second
husband, John C. Price Sr., died in 1965.
Born in Holland, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Samuel
and Mary E. Gares Lippincott.
Surviving are two sons, John C. Price Jr., at home, and Sgt.
Donald G. Price, and the Army at Ft. Dix; three daughters,
Mrs. Norman Compton, Mount Crawford, Va.; Mrs. Edward Waldon,
Philadelphia, and Mrs. Eleanor Daddon, Pleasantville, N.J.;
a brother, Charles Lippincott, and a sister, Mrs. Alma R.Scott,
both Holland, N.J.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held a 2 p.m. Sunday in the Church of
the Nazarene. The Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth, is in charge
of arrangments
