J. Earl Laubach, Ex-Election Official In Pohatcong Twp.
J. Earl Laubach, 74, Hughesville, Milford R. D. N.J. died last night in Warren Hospital.
Mr. Laubach was a former member of the election board of Pohatcong Township.
He was a construction foreman for the Riegel Paper Corp. where he was employed 45 years before retiring in 1955. He was a member of the company’s Quarter Century Club and it’s Old Times Group.
Born in Riegelsville, N.J. he was a son of the late John A. and Harriet Roseberry Laubach.
He was a member of the Finesville Methodist Church, 57 years, a member of the board of trustees of the church for 30 years and served as president of the board 25 years. He attended Churchman Business College.
Survivors include his widow the former Helen Seigel; two sons, E. Richard and Lynnford S. both of Milford R.D.; a daughter, Mrs. Mearl Wismer, Milford R.D.; a brother, William R., Omaha, Neb/; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will beheld at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, Riegelsville. Interment will be in Greenwich Cemetery. |
