Jesse Laubach, Ex-Official of Lumber Firm
Jesse E. Laubach, 73, former vice president and treasurer of the Zearfoss-Hilliard Lumber Co., died this morning in Betts Hospital. His home was at 1824 Lehigh St., Wilson
Mr. Laubach was associated with the lumber company 50 years. He retired six years ago when the company went out of business.
Born in Finesville, N.J. he was a son of the late Levi and Jennie Edinger Laubach. His wife, Clara, died four years ago.
Mr. Laubach was a member and elder of First United Church of Christ, Easton. He was honored last year for 50 years service in the church.
Survivors include a son, Hugh L., Easton; four daughters, Glen, wife of G. Mitchell Cobb, and *****, wife of *****, both of Easton, and *****, wife of *****., and *****, wife of *****, both of Phillipsburg; two brothers, Benjamin, Finesville, and Russell T., Riegelsville, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Leola Young, Riegelsville, Pa., 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Runyon Funeral Home, Easton. |
