In the name of God Amen The twenty Eighth day of March , in the Year of our Lord, One thousand Eight Hundred, I John Cooper, Senior, of the Township of Bedminster, in the County of Bucks and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being advanced in years and very inform in health and know in that it is appointed for all persons once to die, and being willing and desirous to settle all my worldly affairs in the best manner I am able, do make this my last testament in manner following, viz, I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be fully paid and discharge. Item It is my will and I give devise and bequeath unto my son Abraham, Viz, two cows, one tin plated stove, two beds and bedsteds & bedding, one table, one dresser and all that is on and in it, two chest & sundry Carpenter tools, a grindstone, all my clothes and movables, all my money that I have at home and abroad; all my remaining children, (Namely). John , Anna Elizabeth, Peter, Catharine, Susanna, Gabriel, George Adam, Daniel, Mary Magdalena, have already received all they can expect out of my estate., and I do order and direct my said son Abraham, to find both me and my wife Elizabeth, in sufficient ? and drink during our natural lives, and in case of sickness to find us due and necessary attendance, and in case of not agreeing, the said Abraham to find us our own cookery to our desire, if my wife Elizabeth, should happen to change her name after my death,s o as to get married again, in such a case she becomes nothing with her but her clothes, her boarding the with Abraham has an end. After my death my Son Gabriel, shall pay to my son Abraham, or assigns, the sum he owes in money and goods lent him the amount of £99..2.66. Likewise my son Daniel owes me £4..0..0 to pay the same to my son Abraham. I likewise give devise and bequeath unto my son Abraham , a certain tract of woodland, containing 116 acres lying in Northumberland County, it being granted to my son Gabriel, I gave him the money to purchase it and the deed is dated in my possession, my mind therefore I have changed and for the present give it my son Abraham, after my death my son Abraham, shall pay to my son George dollars in place of two sheep, likewise to my daughter Mary Magdalena, two dollars in place of two sheep, and I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my son Abraham Cooper, to the job executor of this my last testament, hereby revoling and disallowing all other former testament, In Witne3ss whereof I the said John cooper, Senior have here unto set my hand and seal, the day and year first within written.
