Mother Loses Two Sons in Epidemic
Pneumonia and Spanish Influenza have taken another life in the family
of Mrs. William Koch, of Nazareth, who son, Walter Koch, died last
week of the same ailments. At 5:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon Clayton
Koch of Tatamy, another son, died at the age of 24 years. He had been
ill for a week. He is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. William
Koch, of Nazareth and by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Lizzie
Trach, Matthias Koch, Mrs. Stella Miller, Oliver Koch, Christopher
Koch, William Koch, Oscar Koch, Joyce, Lottie and Hattie Koch, all
of Nazareth, and Harvey Koch, of Thomasburg. Deceased was last employed
at the Teadwell plant, Easton. The Koch family has the sympathy of
the entire community in their new bereavement. Funeral Satruday at
2 p.lm. from the home of deceased's father-in-law, Lewis Rice, Tatamy,
with interment in the Forks cemetery.
