Elizabeth M. Siegfried

Elizabeth M. Betty Siegfried, 82, formerly of Washington Park, Nazareth, died
July 6, 2005, in Moravian Hall Square Retirement Community, Nazareth. She was
the wife of the late Paul T. Siegfried, who passed away in 1977. Born in Nazareth,
she was the daughter of the late Roy D. and Marion E. (Stecker) Knecht. She was
a 1941 graduate of Nazareth High School and completed two years at Churchmans
Business School, Easton. She was a lifetime member of St. Johns U.C.C. Church,
Nazareth, where she was active in the Womens Association and a former member
of the counting committee. Some of her most treasured enjoyments were traveling
to shore points, especially Cape May, and playing the game of pinochle.
Survivors: Daughter and granddaughters.
Services: 3 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2005, Bartholomew-Schisler
Funeral Home, 211 E. Center St., Nazareth. Call 2-3 p.m. Saturday
in the funeral home. Burial in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown, Lower
Nazareth Township, immediately following the services.
