Paul Kiefer, operated Nazareth garage service.
Paul "Pete" Kiefer, 79, of 57 Tatamy Road, Nazareth, died Sunday morning in Easton Hospital, where he was admitted May 3.
he owned and operated Kiefer's garage on Easton Road in Nazareth for 20 years, retiring in 1974. Prior to that he and his late brother, Stewart, operated the first Kiefer Garage in the circle in Nazareth, for many years.
Born in Nazareth, he was a son of the late Augustus and Eva Rice Kiefer.
Mr. Kiefer was a member of Nazareth Moravian Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Jeanette Fehr, Stroudsburg, and Mrs. Dorothy Lloyd, at home; and two brothers, Walter of Harrisburg, N.C., and Elwood "Spriggs", of Charleston W. Va.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth. Interment will be in Nazareth Moravian Church Cemetery. |
