J. Roy Kiefer Dies in Philadelphia
J. Roy Kiefer, 50, formerly of 303 North Ninth Street, this
city, and who was for many years engaged in the automobile
business in Easton, died yesterday in a hospital in Philadelphia.
He had been living in Philadelphia for the past six years.
Mr. Kiefer was born in Martin's Creek and was a son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. George Keifer. He was a partner in Kiefer & Steele
Motor Company, 131 Northampton Street, and later engaged in
the automobile business for himself at the same address, under
the name of J. R. Kiefer Motor Car Company. The concern later
became the Easton Garage and Sales Company. |
