Herbert E. "Ossie" Kiefer, Jr., 60, of 320 Sixth St., West Easton, died Tuesday in Easton Hospital.
Born in Glendon, he was a son of the late Herbert E. Sr. and Bertha (Shupe) Kiefer.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Williams Township.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ida E. Smith, with whom he lived, Mrs. Dorothy E. Esposito of Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Nina E. Edwards and Mrs. Gertrude M. Martin, both of Easton, and a brother, Clinton S. of LeRoy, N.Y.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday.

Herbert E "Ossie" Kiefer, Jr. 60 of 320 Sixth Street, West Easton died Tuesday in Easton Hospital.
Born July 7, 1925 in Glendon he was a son of the late Herbert E. Sr and Bertha Shupr Kiefer.
Mr. Kiefer was a member of ST. John's Lutheran Church, Williams Township, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1290, Easton. Safety First Volunteer Fire Co., West Easton, and a life member of Paralyzed Veterans of America and Brown & Lunch American Legion Post 9, Palmer Township. He served with the U.S. army during the World War II.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ida E. Smith with whom he lived; Mrs. Dorothy Esposito, Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Nina E Edwards and Mrs. Gertrude M Martin, both of Easton and a Brother Clinton S of LeRoy, NY.
