Edwin H. "Peanuts" Kiefer, 76, of Bethlehem died Sunday, Jan. 10, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Madeline F. (Facchiano) Kiefer for 50 years.
He was an inspector in the Saucon plant of Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 43 years, retiring in 1983.
Born in Seidersville, he was a son of the late William and Mary (Kutz) Kiefer.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a life member of Se-Wy-Co Fire Co., Lower Saucon Township, and a member of the Jefferson Democratic Club, Home Association and YMCA, all in Bethlehem, and and the Quakertown Moose Lodge.
Survivors: Wife and a sister, Mrs. Martha Dreisbach of Fountain Hill.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dino P. Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway Fountain Hill. Call 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.
