S. Maud Hummel, 97, of 1127 E. Del Mar Blvd., Pasadena, Calif., formerly of Coleman Street, Easton, died Sunday in her home. She was the wife of the late Ferman W. Hummel.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Ursula (Walter) Kessler.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Easton, and a former superintendent of the primary department of the Sunday school.
Survivors: Daughter, Marjorie, wife of William Krantz of Altadena, Calif.; a grandson and two great-grandsons.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton streets, Easton. Call 9-10 a.m. Saturday
