Betty P. Snyder, 67, of 437 S. 20th St., Wilson, died Friday in her home. She was the wife of James L. Snyder. They were married 46 years last June.
She was a school crossing guard for the Wilson Area School District for the past 40 years. She was also a meter maid for Wilson from 1976 to 1986, and worked at Binney & Smith Co., Forks Township.
Born in Wilson, she was a daughter of Minnie (Burley) Jacoby of Wilson and the late Burton Jacoby.
She was a member of the Memorial United Church of Christ, Wilson.
Survivors: Husband and mother; sons, James Jr. of Forks Township and **** of Easton; daughter, ****, at home; brother, John of Forks Township; sisters, *****, wife of **** of Daytona Beach, Fla., ****, wife of ***** of Phillipsburg and Grace, wife of Willard Setzer of Lower Nazareth Township; five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Schmidt Mortuary, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. Call noon-1:30 p.m. Tuesday. |
