Asa F. Houck, 65, a former Easton tinsmith, died last evening
at his home at Elizabeth, N.J. He was a son of the late
Alfred and Mary Houck, of this city, and formerly lived
at 27 South Ninth street. He had many friends here. His
widow, Mrs. Tillie Houck, survives him. Mr. Houck was a
member of Vanderveer Lodge. No .1105 I. O. O. F., and the
Junior Order of American Mechanics, of this city and of
the Masonic lodge at Perth Amboy. He was a member of St.
Paul’s Lutheran Church, Elizabeth. The funeral will
be held on Tuesday morning and interment will be made fin
the Easton Heights Cemetery about 11 a.m. The Rev. Mr.
Myers, Pastor of St. Paul’s Church, Elizabeth, will
be in charge of the services.
