Doris R. Diehl, 71, of Easton, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004 in Easton Hospital. Born: May 12, 1933, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Jacob M. and Julia L. Steckel Hendershot. Personal: She was a seamstress in the Easton area for many years. Memberships: She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was also a member of VFW Post 1290, Ladies Auxiliary, Easton. Survivors: a son, Kenneth L., of Easton; and a brother, Kenneth J. Hendershot, of Marshals Creek. Two brothers, Clifford L. Hendershot, Sr. and Donald Huff died earlier. Services: A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Easton Cemetery. The Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton Sts., Easton is handling the arrangements.
