John S. Helm, 76, of 1800 Morgan Hill Road, Williams Township, died Wednesday in his home. He was the husband of Florence (Vivian) Helm. They observed their 51st wedding anniversary in April.
Helm owned and operated the former Helm's Atlantic service station at St. John and Berwick streets, Easton, for 18 years before retiring in 1975. He previously worked at the former Chipman Knitting Mills, West Easton.
Born in Williams Township, he was a son of the late Earie C. and Mabel (Kiefer) Helm.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Williams Township.
Helm was a member of the Williams Township Lions Club.
Survivors: Wife; son, *****., and brothers, Ellerslie W.R. and Kenneth S., all of Williams Township, and three grandchildren.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the church. No calling hours. Arrangements, Strunk Funeral Home, Berwick and Reynolds streets, Easton. |
