William H. Hahn Stricken Fatally In Doctor's Office
William H. Hahn, 77, who resided in the rear of 840 Milton
Street, died unexpectedly at 8:30 o'clok this morning of
a heart attack in the office of Dr. J. J. Condran, Philadelphia
road and Davis Street. Dr. Corcran said Mr. Hahn suffered
the fatal attack right after occupying a chair alonnside
the office desk.
Dr. David F. Bachman, of Bethlehem, Northampton County coroner
gave permission to have the body removed from Dr. Condran's
office to an undertaking establishiment. Officer Frederick
May investigated for the Easton police.
Mr. Hahn, a tinsmith and sheetmetal worker by trade had
been working on the roof of a South Side house earlier in
the morning and then visited his duagher's gasoline state
at Berwick and St. John strets, where he had histruck serviced
preparatory to getting a load of slate at a quarry in Penn
Argyl.
Surviving are his widow, Fannie; four children; Mrs. Ruth
E. Schinstine and Paul T. M. Hahn, of Easton; George W. Hahn
of Union, NJ and Mrs. Grace Scott, of Toronto Canada; a brother
Forrest Hahn, of EAston; s sister, Mrs. Sallie Thomas of
Bayonne, NJ formerly of Easton; and eight grandchildren,
one grandchild, Cpl William Schinstine, is serving in the
United States Army.
Mr. Hahn was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Reformed
Church; Easton Lodge, No. 45, Loyal order of Moose; Easton
Ocal No 379, Musicians Union; Black Knight Commandery, Knights
of Malta, and Camp 193, P.O.S. of A
