William H. Glessner,
Was Native of Easton
William H. Glessner, 70, a native of Easton, who was employed
by the Lehigh Valley Throwing Silk Mill in Bethlehem, died
Saturday afternoon at the home of his brother, Harry Glessner,
of Cherry Hill, Nazareth, R.D. 2. Mr. Glessner was born January
8, 1879, a son of the late Leonard and Mary Fell. His wife,
the late Julia Stamets Glessner, died 23 years ago.
Surviving in addition to Harry, is another brother, Leonard,
of Ocean Grove, NJ. Funeral services will be held tomorrow
at 2:30 p.m. at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, Nazareth. The
Rev. A.J. Harke, pastor of Schoeneck Moravian Church, will
officiate. Interment will be in South Easton Cemetery. |
