Robert C. Geiger, 71, of Palmer Township died Friday, April 3, in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Doris (Jones) Geiger. They were married for 47 years last May.

He worked for the Chubb Corp., Parsippany, N.J., for 35 years until retiring as manager of field clerical administration in 1998.

Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Earl J. and Edna (Beegle) Geiger.

He was a member, former sacristan and trustee of Palmer Moravian Community Church, and a member of its men's breakfast group.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors: Wife; son, brother, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Arrangements, Strunk Funeral Home, Wilson.

Contributions: Church endowment fund and/or American Lung Association, Bethlehem.
