Mrs. Margaret E. Hoover
Mrs. Margaret E. Garis Hoover, widow of Charles Hoover, formerly
of Easton, died at 2 o'clock this morning at the home of her
sister, Mrs. Anna G. Mixsell, widow of Austin D. Mixsell, Twelfth
street and Prospect Avenue, Bethlehem, of heart trouble. She
had been ill since Saturday.
Mrs. Hoover was born in this city and was a daughter of Wiliam
Edwin and the late Mrs. Ellen L. Micke Garis. Her husband,
who was a salesman in the employ of the William Wharton Company,
died about ten years ago. She is survived by her father, William
E. Garis, who resides at 1324 West Broad street, Bethlehem,
and by three sisters, Mrs. Anna G. Mixsell and Mrs. Florence
Miller,wife of Harry Miller, Bethlhelm, and Mrs. Rose Reynolds,
wife of Walter C. Reynolds, of 1904 Ferry street, Wilson Borough.
She was a member of the Pro-Cathedral Church of the Nativity,
Bethlehem, Interment will be made in the Easton Cemetery. |
