Boy Dies At Hospital
John Gaffney, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gaffney, of No. 276 Madison Street, died at 6:50 o’clock this morning at the Easton hospital, of peritonitis. He would have been fifteen years of age on August 8, next. He was taken ill last Thursday and was removed to the hospital on Saturday. Besides his parents he is survived by the following brothers and sisters; Philip, James, Thomas, Joseph, Frank and Anna Gaffney, and Mrs. Thomas Langdon, all of this city. Deceased was a bright and popular boy and was a pupil in the Stevens school building. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
