Frank Gaffney Dies in Philadelphia
Mrs. Thomas Langan, of 235 West Wilkes-Barre Street, this morning received a telegram informing her of the death of her brother, Frank Gaffney which occurred at 1 o’clock this morning in the General Hospital, Philadelphia. The cause of the death or the duration of his illness was not made known in the telegram. The young man, who was a blacksmith by occupation left Easton about three years ago for Binghamton, N.Y. where he had been employed. Low long he has been in Philadelphia is not known here.
He was 35 years old and was a son of Mrs. Mary and the late John Gaffney, of this city. He is survived by a son, Frank, of Easton; his mother, and two sisters and two brothers; Mrs. Thomas Langan, Mrs. Anna Martin and James all of Easton and Thomas of Williams Township. |
