Martin Frankenfield
Martin Frankenfield died yesterday at Allentown, aged 75 years. The deceased was born in Northampton County, a son of Andrew and Sarah Frankenfield. He moved to Allentown in 1889, prior to that time having residing at Shoenersville. He is survived by his wife and these children: Mrs. Milton S. Kleppinger, of Center Valley; Mrs. Harvey D. Snyder, of West Bethlehem, and William O. Frankenfield, residing at home. One brother, James M. Frankenfield, of Freeport, Illinois, also survives him.

Martin Frankenfield Dead
Following an illness with a complication of diseases, Martin Frankenfield, a well-known retired confectioner, passed away this morning at his late home, No. 521 Law Street, aged 75 years, 11 months and 7 days.
The deceased was born in Northampton County, a son of Andrew and Sarah Frankenfield, He came to this city in 1889, prior to that time having resided at Shoenersville and engaged in the confectionary business, succeeding the Kuhl confectionary,and conducted a prosperous wholesale and retail business at No. 641 Hamilton Street. Owning to advance age he retired from the business 10 years ago.
he is survived by his wife, nee Sarah Von Steuben and these children: Mrs. Milton S. Kleppinger of Centre Valley, Mrs. Harvey D. Snyder of West Bethlehem,and Wililam O. Frankenfield residing at home. One brother, James M. Frnakenfield of Freeport, Illinois, also survives. he was a member of Salem Reformed Church.
The funeral will take palceon tuesday aternoonat 1 o'clock. Services will be conducted at the house, Rev. R. M.Kern, pastor of St. Andrew's Reformed Church and Rev. Dr. G.W. Richards of Lancaster officating. intrmetn will be made at Shoenersville. |
