Leola E. Koons, supervisor
Leola E. Koons, 87, formerly of Easton, died Tuesday, April
16 in Easton Hospital. She had been a resident of Gracedale,
the Northampton County nursing home in Upper Nazareth Township,
for the past four years.
She was last employed as a supervisor for Easton Laundry retiring
in 1972 after more than 20 years.
Born May 26, 1908, in Riegelsville, N.J. she was a daughter
of the late Robert and Catherine Ehly Frankenfield.
Her husband, Arthur J., died in 1980.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Easton.
Survivng are a stepson, Robert A. of Swiftwater, Pa; two step-grandchildren
and four step-great-grandchildren.
Burial of cremains will be in Riegelsville Union Cemetery
at the convenience of the family.
The Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, 327 Easton Road, Riegelsville,
is in charge of arrangments. |
