Josiah F. Frankenfield
Josiah Franklin Frankenfield, 68 years old, died suddenly from a heart
attack last night at 10:45 o'clock at his home, 909 Wilkes-Barre Street.
He had been in apparent good health throughout yesterday and retired
last evening at his usual time. Shortly after 10:30 o'clock he aroused
other members of the family and told them of feeling ill. He then collapsed
and Dr. L.F. Burkley was hurriedly summoned but by the time he arrived
Mr. Frankenfield was dead. He was a native of William Township but
spent practically all of his life in this city and for many years was
employed as a machinist by the Ingersoll Rand Company, retiring about
11 years ago.
He is survived by three children: Jess, Bessie and Marie Frankenfield
and a grandchild Shirley Elizabeth, all at home, he was a member of
St. Peter's Reformed Church.
