Evelyn Steckle, lived in Phillipsburg
Evelyn Steckel, 93, of Warren Haven, the Warren County nursing
home in Mansfield Township, formerly of Phillipsburg, died
Sunday, Sept 6, in the home.
She was a homemaker.
Born March 9, 1905, in Riegelsville, N.J., she was a daughter
of the late William and Minnie Faust Frankenfield.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Her husband, Claude Day Steckel, died in 1987.
She is survived by a daughter, June E. Henry of Greenville,
Tenn.; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two
great-great grandchildren.
A Son, William, died earlier.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Finegan Funeral
Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg. There will be no calling
hours. Burial will be in Riegelsville Cemetery in Riegelsville,
PA. |
