Ellis H. Frankenfield
Ellis H. Frankenfield, 1434 S. Float Ave., who operated a fruit store on Main street for many years,died this morning in his home.
Mr. Frankenfield, a well-known gardener, was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. He was also a World War I veteran.
Born July 2, 1892, in Freeport, he was the son of James M.and Caroline (Heim) Frankenfield. He married Hilda Luedeking April 21, 1920. She died Oct 26, 1964.
He was the last surviving member of his family.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Burk-Tubbs Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr.William M. Pfautz, Pastor of Second Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. |
