Mrs. Martha Humphrey, Express Correspondent
Mrs. Martha L. Humphrey, 86, Edelman, Nazareth R.D.2, died Wednesday in her home.
She was a correspondent for the Edelman-Plainfield township area for the Express and the Bethlehem Globe-Times newspapers for 25 years, retiring in 9175.
Born in East Lawn, Upper Nazareth Township, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Anna Seyfried Frack.
She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist church, Edelman, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and choir member and past president of the United Methodist Women of the church.
Her husband, David T. Humphrey died in Jan, 1975.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Fed Gardner, Easton; two sons, John of Nazareth R.D. 2 and David of Pen Argyl, R.D. 1; a sister, Anna Frack, Nazareth, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth. Interment will be Belfast Union Cemetery. |
