Esther M. Decker, 95, of Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem, formerly of Cherokee Street, Fountain Hill, died June 10 in the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Leon E. Decker, who died in 2000.

A member of the State Education Association of Northampton County, she was a sixth grade teacher for the former Stevens Elementary School, Fountain Hill, for 42 years before retiring.

Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Edward F. and Hattie V. (Henshue) Fox.

She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Niece, nephew.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill. Call 10-11 a.m. Friday.
