Mrs. Elmer J. Stout
Mrs. Annie M. Stout, 79, of 324 N. 11th St., died this morning in Easton Hospital where she was a patient since last Friday.
Mrs. Stout was born Nov. 27, 1886, in Easton, a daughter of the late Thomas Bishop Fishler and Sallie C. Kiefer Fishler. She lived in Easton all her life and formerly resided at 918 Butler St. before moving to the 11th Street address in 1947.
Her husband, Elmer J. Stout, died in March 1955. She was a member of St. mark's United Church of Christ and was secretary of the Stout family reunion 25 years. She formerly was active in the Franklin PTA.
Survivors include four daughters, Sarah C, wife of Floyd F Laubach, And Helen I., wife of Frederick L. Krewson, both of Easton; Gene A. wife of Kenneth MacGregor, Milford, Conn., and Elizabeth M., wife of Ted C. Remaly, Palmer Township; a brother, Thomas Fischler, Milford, N.J. three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. |
