In the name of God Amen, I Peter Deal of Bushkill Township
in the County of Northampton and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being
sick and weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding blessed
be God for the same, do make and published this m last will and testament
in manner and form following to wit:
Principally and above all I command my mortal soul into the hands of
God, who gave it, and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent
and christian like manner at the authority of my Executor of hereafter
mentioned, such it is my will that my dear wife Elisabeth shall have
my bed and bedding my bedroom my six chairs, my table and my kitchen
dress and my stove and her spinning wool, provided my just
debts and funeral expences being first payed. it is my will that
my executor herein after mentioned shall sell my lot for the best price
to be gotten therefor and out of said money my debts shall be first
paid and should there be any ballance left, I give and bequeath the
same unto my dear child in the bossom of his mother together with all
the money outstandings further it is my will that my executor shall
have full power to sign seal execute and deliver will and sufficient
deed or deeds as I might do if I was living, Item there is some of
land sold by me and no deed executed I thoerefore give full power unto
my executor herein after mentioned to execute the same as I might so
if I was alive ? should there be a child born by and now carried
in the bossem of my said dear wife Elizabeth, it is my wife, I give
unto this my child the above mentioned balance should it live and obtain
the age of twenty one and should it not live it is my will that my
said dear wife shall have the same and lastly I nominate and appoint
my Brother John Deal and my dear wife Elizabeth to be my executors
of this my last will and testament revoking all other wills, legacies
bequist by me heretofore mad and declaring this and no other to be
my to be my last will and testament, in witneiss whereof I the said
Peter Deal have set my hand and Seal thirteen day of Dember in the
year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty.
