Helen E. Bowen, 85, of 223 E. 7th St., Northampton, formerly of 116 W. Main St., Bath, died Thursday in Valley Manor Nursing Home, Coopersburg. She was the wife of the late Robert M. Bowen Jr.

Born in Butztown, she was a daughter of the late Gary and Ellen (Brader) Coleman.

She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Bath, where she was the treasurer of the Sunshine Class for 19 years.

Survivors: Son, daughter, sisters, Margaret Gross of Bethlehem and Mary Unangst of Hellertown; seven grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Bartholomew Funeral Home, 243 S. Walnut St., Bath. Call 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
