Mrs. Rose Gerstenberg
Mrs. Rose Gerstenberg, 73 years old, widow of Henry Gerstenberg,
of 3 North Mulberry Street, died 12:40 this afternoon at Easton
Hospital. She was admitted on Sept. 8 for medical treatment.
Mrs. Gerstenberg was born at Raubsville, a daughter of the
late Samuel and Louisa Coken. Her husband died several years
ago. For the last 30years she had ben employed as an ironer
and repair worker at the Rough Dry Laundry.
She is survived by one son, harry, of Allentown; one granddaughter;
two sisters, Mrs. Mame Ried, widow of Harry Ried, 5 North Mulberry
street and Mrs. Nettie Levers, 700 Wolf street; also by a step
sister, Mrs. Emma McAfee, of Bethlehem, and a step brother,
Stewart Miley, clerk in City Treasurer's office, of 5 North
Mulberry street.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church, this city.
