Alfred F. Case, 85, formerly of Whitehall Township, died
Monday, Jan. 4, in ManorCare Health Services, Palmer Township.
He was the husband of Mildred (Wallaesa) Case, who died in
1994.
He was a manager of quality assurance for Amsted Industries,
Chicago, before retiring after many years' service. Previously,
he worked for the former Warren Foundry, Phillipsburg.
Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Alfred R.
and Margaret (Wilhelm) Case.
He was a 1936 graduate of Lafayette College, where he was
active in alumni affairs, and a member of the Varsity E Club.
Survivors: Stepdaughter, Barbara Ellen Gill of Lakeland,
Fla., nieces and nephews.
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton
St., Wilson. Call 1-2 p.m. Thursday.
