HARRY CAMPBELL, 65, LAFAYETTE BANK OFFICER

Harry W. Campbell Jr., 65, of 818 Balata St., Wilson, died Saturday, June 13, in his home. He was the husband of Dorothy (Wagner) Campbell. They were married for 44 years last September.

A 1952 graduate of Churchman Business School, Easton, he was employed by Lafayette Bank, Easton, for 40 years until retiring as vice president of operations in 1992.

He also taught courses for the American Institute of Banking at Northampton Community College.

In 1977, he was president of the Bank Administration Institute.

Born in Lower Nazareth Township, he was a son of Harry W. Sr. of Wilson and the late Mabel (Beam) Campbell.

He was a member of Bethel Memorial Baptist Church, Palmer Township, where he was chairman of the board of deacons for more than 30 years, sang in the choir and chaired the Missions Committee. He also made stained glass windows for the church.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was a past president of the Easton Rotary Club, where he co-chaired the club's participation in the Wilson Lions' fair for many years and was a Paul Harris Fellow.

He was a past president and life member of Suburban Rescue Squad, Palmer Township, and a life member of the Wilson Band Boosters.

He received the Distinguished Service Award for Community Involvement from the Easton Area Jaycees.

Survivors: Wife and father; son, daughter, sister, and three grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton streets, Easton.
