Mrs. Isaac Pixley
Mrs. Minnie L. Brotzman Pixley, 74, wife of Isaac Pixley, died at
12:07 this afternoon at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. & Mrs.
Walter C. Thomas,1156 Washington Street.
Mrs. Pixley was born in Easton & was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs.
John Brotzman. She was a member of St. Mark's Reformed Church & of
the Ladies' Aid and Missionary Societies of that church.
Isaac Pixley, her husband, is a retired engineer on the Lehigh Valley
Railroad. He lost a leg in a railroad wreck at Three Bridges, NJ. in
the blizzard of March, 1888. On April 20th of the present year, Mr. & Mrs.
Pixley celebrated the 55th anniversary of their marriage.
Surviving are her husband, 5 daughters, Mrs. George Adams(Florence),
Mrs. Elmer Worman(Daisy), Mrs. Walter Thomas, Mrs. William Heller(Mabel),
and Mrs. Lloyd Rapp (Alice); 2 sons, William & Samuel Pixley; a
sister, Mrs. Alice Kist; 18 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren,
all of Easton.
