John A. Brotzman
John A. Brotzman, 80, of 1831 Griffith St., Philadelphia, formerly of Easton, died yesterday in the Ashton Hall Nursing Home, Philadelphia, where he was a guest nine months.
Mr. Brotzman was born March 3, 1887, in Williams Township, a son of the late Edwin and Anna Han Brotzman. He lived at Ninth and Spring Garden streets until 1921 when he moved to Philadelphia.
Mr. Brotzman was employed as a machinist for 30 years by the American Can Co. in Philadelphia, retiring in 1957. he formerly was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corp.
He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his widow the former Edith Schlabach; a brothers, Earl A., Easton; a sister, Mrs. Thomas Lippey, Palmer Township, and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton.
